Difficulty Finding a Partner

Because Accounting entrepreneurs do not want to work together?

First of all, I want to clarify that I wrote this Blog to express my opinion for some time I’ve been looking for a partner for my accounting office, but still did not show the right person. In these few words I portray only my opinion (outburst) about this long search.

I already placed ads, publications on social networks and through my website pages I have been expressing my ideas about working together with other Accountants, some have similar thoughts, others don't. So let's talk about those who have a small office (few customers): The biggest difficulty would be sharing the same space with me, not necessarily sharing customers (my clients remain mine, the customers of this new partner remain with him until a certain trial period).

What to do with Customers

In fact, customers are the BIGGEST GOOD of any business, this is no different in the provision of services, even more Professional Services that depend more on technical knowledge. That’s why each one is so important (of the partners) stay with your customers for an initial period until customers “we get used to it” with the new office. Customers should never “feel the impact” of business unification, should never be overlooked above economic and financial interests, that is, first the client then the rules of working together in the new venture are reviewed. That’s why I don’t fall for this conversation of coming with Society first hand, Partnership is always the term initially used in favor of good service to our customers.

Partnership or Society, as?

So why not change some settings? Why go straight head (as some say) a society without well know the people involved? Because of these issues I decided to call this future society in Partnership which I define as being the union of efforts to reach some goal, that simple! The simple fact of sharing a space, saving rent, saving on employees, utility expenses, accounting program etc., this in itself is already the beginning of a successful society, after all, goal of any business is not profit? So why some who say “Accounting Professionals” already propose a Society wanting to go through this first stage (partnership)? In my point of view they only think about Profit and that is not healthy for any business, it takes a lot of work and dedication to be successful, which is our case! Profits are a consequence!.

Why this is so hard to find someone who want to work together, because many do not want to work, only income. But the income should not come Labor? Good, I always learned this way all my life, but some still insist on only win, and win… Why then do not apply in the stock market and stop calling me only wanting to buy my client portfolio?

But which partner profile?

Has anyone heard of the term that “society is equal marriage”? I agree with this as well! You know when you date and the first day ever want to get married? This is something of inexperienced people, Is not it? When we are teenagers, dreamer, I think that first love is already the last and stuff… Many people still think so when you want to find a partner, Clear, It has exceptions for some businesses that do not offer a great risk, but this is not the case.

A partner for expert ACCOUNTING, It would be a person who understands all our work, our experience and track record over the years, that has a similar profile, not necessarily an investor because we have a little money. But that can aim for long-term growth, don't be immediate like many, but also don't keep your arms crossed (be interactive, decisive, innovative). A good reason to be my partner would be to want to grow nationally and internationally, due to my experience with companies from abroad, that's why I have Trademarks registered at the INPI. Who does not have this vision, I prefer not to contact! It is sad to realize that many accountants are content with customers who have and do not seek to grow the market. Would think that will grow alone? Of course not! “It is because they are more selfish to have a partner”.

I want to again say that this blog has been written only to portray my opinion, I apologize to those who might be offended, but it is what I think! We welcome all those who REALLY want to work hard because it's the only way I see to grow professionally!
